  @Ringz I don’t think this is an error, the original text just took up two speech bubbles. When the text was translated the text was small enough to fit into just one bubble, so they repeated the phrase for the second speech bubble. The text after it makes perfect sense with this phrase, it is not incomplete. Why they didn’t divide the text among the two bubbles I’m not sure, but I hope this solves your problem!   New art style is very shiny, almost every chapter you see someone framed with falling leafes, “lens flares” and beautiful lighting. Imo it feels a lot like a shouyou manga. Every chapter looks/feels quite similar.
  While the old style was more raw/dirty, with more variety.

Goodness gracious, I loathe the new art style. The daughter with the red hair looks like a pretty boy and the mage daughter with the purple hair lost any semblance of an air head she had before. Now it’s all just pretty people doing stuff.
I want the old art style back, Fits the theme so much better. The new faces also seem quite expressionless, even though they have a lot more expressions and their faces are a lot more detailed.

i’d like to ask a question. i’m reading again the 1st series of this manhua (as it’s chinese), and out of curiosity, i tried to search about his author, Tang Jia San Shao (search in the net for his real name). But nothing hinted about him pass away, No news about his death. And as “The Magic Chef of Ice and Fire” novel\manhua hadn’t any apparent illustrator\cartoonist working on it, i can only think about Tang Jia San Shao covering the graphic side too. Thus, he cannot be dead. No words about his death so, unless there was an uncredited graphic artist passing away, cannot understand why that manhua was left to rot. “Author passed away”. But do you have evidences to support this claim?

I’d like to see some evidences about Tang’s death. If not, i can only deduce he was too tired to give other efforts on this work and just left it on other hands. Thus, having this new author, “kuangsanlinXMCyu”, being hired to be the new drawing hands…

So please, could anyone give me evidences about Tan Jia San Shao’s death?

  Tang Jia San Shao is the author of the Novel and is not dead. His novels are adapted by different people into manhua. For example, Tang Jia San Shao has written Combat Continent 1,2,3, and God’s Realm, Good Reaper, and This.
  The original adapter for this is the one who died. you’ve been searching for the wrong person.

  dude… Tang Jia San Shao is the author of the novel not the manhua. he is busy writing Douluo Dalu 3 - Legend of the Dragon King, with up to 3 chapters a day. the one who probably passed away was the artist of Magic Chef of Ice and Fire. Thus, Tang Jia San Shao definitely DID NOT pass away.

mmm the new author in this latest chapter tried to adjust his look to be more in line with the past author’s. kinda good for now. sadly the girls are too beautified.. too much on the female side all of them (“bishie” side?)
the old author had a more equilibrate touch. but for now i’ll see what this new one will cook for us
